My dog is the worst at posing! Can I still do the shoot?
Of course. Most of the dogs that I have photographed are just every day pets and not #instafamous dog models. Don't worry! There is no rush during the shoot so we can let your pet get comfortable first. In saying that if your pet is wildly energetic and untrained we may not get the desired outcome. Basic sitting & stay skills are desirable for dogs over 6 months, puppies are normally not an issue as we can tire them out quickly and plonk them into baskets.
Do you photograph only dogs?
Absolutely not, I would be happy to photograph any animals & always looking to get some more variety to my portfolio. Maybe not snakes sorry!
Can I keep my dog on the leash?
Yes you can! If you are not comfortable letting your dog off the leash that's not a big deal, I will try my best to remove leads post processing, but this is not always possible if people or other objects are in front or behind the leash.
What is the booking process?
Get in touch via my contact form with all your details and once we set a date + time you will then need to pay a deposit of 50% and sign a contract.The rest is not due until you view and select your favorite images. From the shoot to gallery it takes about 3 weeks, I am very picky with my work so I prefer not to rush the magic. You then need to pay the final invoice and sign an image licensing agreement and then you can download the images & also order artwork if you wish.
Can I book a weekend day?
I have limited availability for weekends and there is an additional fee of $30.
Where are you based?
My studio is in Tugun,Gold Coast. Beach shoots are also either at Tugun, Bilinga or Kirra beach. Sometimes I able able to come to a beach closer to you ( extra fees will apply)
Can I get on the photo with my pets?
I am happy for 1 or 2 adults to jump in the photo, but I do not do family photos. Please be aware that as a photographer I use photos from each shoot in my public portfolio including some with humans. If you are uncomfortable with this please let me know during the booking process.
I need to reschedule, what happens then?
The deposit you pay is non refundable, but if you need to reschedule for any reason please allow at least 5 days. I will do my best to accommodate another suitable date.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your dogs favorite toy and treats. There will be free treats and water provided as well.
Are prints included?
Prints are not included in any of the packages however there is a variety of options available to order.
Can I bring people with me to the shoot?
Maximum 1 extra adult is allowed to come to the shoot due to the size of my studio and due to various factors the studio is not child friendly. Too many people will also be very distracting for the animals.
What if I cancel the shoot?
If you cancel the deposit you have paid is non refundable. I am happy to keep it as credit and if you want to rebook within 6 months we can find you another suitable date.
