Celebrating the Doggie Face of Q Calendar at Q Super Centre
Every year, the Q Super Centre at Mermaid Waters hosts the much-anticipated Doggie Face of Q Calendar competition, celebrating our community’s beloved four-legged friends. As a pet photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing the winning dogs for the past four years, and it’s always a highlight of my work.
The Annual Calendar & Launch Event
The winning dogs are featured in a beautifully designed calendar that pet lovers eagerly await each year. The official calendar launch day, typically held in November, is a fun-filled event for the whole family, bringing the local community together to celebrate their furry companions.
This year’s launch was no exception! The event was packed with excitement, including:
✔ Raffles with fantastic prizes
✔ Free entertainment for families and kids
✔ A special meet-and-greet with Story Dogs, an incredible organization that helps children improve their literacy skills through reading to dogs
Capturing the Stars
Photographing the winning dogs is always a joy, and seeing their personalities shine in front of the camera makes each session unique. From playful pups to regal seniors, every dog brings something special to the calendar. This year, I also had the opportunity to document moments from the launch event itself, capturing the excitement, smiles, and wagging tails.
